Today for a change,I visited Copper Kitchen for lunch.
The newly introduced Malabar dishes caught my attention.
I ordered for Ghee Rice with Chicken Curry. The dish comes with a bowl of Ghee rice,a cup(medium size) of chicken curry(mildly spicy) which has 3 - 4 chicken pieces & Chicken 65 - 4 pieces.
The rice & curry were really good. Only rue factor - chicken 65 was over fried. Too crispy & hard. I wish this thing is improved.
This dish can bring down my Biriyani craving!!!
It was tasty,filling & value for money!

That's good to know! I must try out the Malabar dishes then at Copper Kitchen, Porur. Did order dinner for family from there yesterday night - the usual grilled chicken, tandoori chicken and naan/kuppus. Parents, sister & brother in law loved it!!

The luv affair continues!
Dinner at Copper Kitchen.
Well I didn't have lunch today & was really hungry & felt I need some thing more to eat.
Though I have started avoiding chinese at most of the places,I was tempted to order it here today for the 1st time.
So ordered Egg Fried Rice & Garlic Chicken. They didn't disappoint!
The rice was very good!Its an Indianised version,but not the spicy road side shop version.
The portion was also good. It will easily suffice 2 ppl!!!
Chicken Garlic was a gud accompaniment for the rice with generous portions of chicken! It was very mildly sweet due to all the garlic & onion going into it,but the taste was too gud to complain anything about it!
I finished everything in a jiffy!
100(Rice)+145 (Gar.Chi) = Rs.245/-

BTW,Sajjid has read my post about lunch it seems. His Bro came to me & said sorry for the over fried chicken & they have taken necessary steps to avoid it in future. Thats Sweet!!!
