Put 15 women in one place get them to have a meal together without killing each other... dont think it is possible? well, we made it possible! On women's day, lunch was organised at Chin Chin. What started off as a maybe plan became a reality and i made some new friends at lunch. The restaurant in Residency has been renovated and looks good now. They also have a new menu, one that includes items like lotus root and bamboo shoots- both of which i fell in love with. We landed here, and decided to split the dishes between veg and nonveg eaters. We started off with a simple sweet corn soup, followed by lotus stem starter- it was yumm- had been coated with spices and deep fried. And then, for mains we had noodles and rice with bamboo shoot side dish which once again blew me away. For dessert, we tried Darsaan- friend noodles soaked in honey and ice cream. What a fun lunch that was!!
