Tried the coke float and the new veggie pops. The first one was awesomeatic and the veggie pops were okay but had mint in it so i didnt quite enjoy that. The manager was a very friendly person, offered icecream to my baby and the other staff were very courteous too althougb we went at closing time, will def get back here to have the choco fudge topped icecreams soon!

Junk food is not exactly what I would call comfort unlike days like this and places like this. The super crowded Ampa Mall and the super-duper crowded McDonalds in it is such an exception I guess. After a long time I have visited a fast food and loved it, and ironically its the Indianized McD I used to hate.The view from the outlet, although directly to the traffic of poonamalee high road, simply warm and lovely to watch \'em through the glasses. While of course, hogging on some yummy unhealthy to the body not the mind snacks! Most new outlets fails to impress nowadays, I wonder why. I dono what took me so long to check out this place though. The only issue was the service, definitely needs to improve, although it doesnt affect the overall quality of experience because its a self service outlet. The usual McDonald\'s menu, so nothing much to write on that. But somehow the standard of burger was much much better than I can remember eating the last time in some other Indian-McD I don exactly remember Bangalore or Chennai. Most recommended are the Aloo Tikki Burger and yummy fries along coke float. There is Mcflurry and we had the strawberry one, nothing but icecream with strawberry sauce. Spicy Paneer Burger was as rubbery as Chicken. The Paneer tastes better inside the paneer wrap. The Peri Peri fries was nothing but an extra sachet of peri masala powder along with usual fries. Not to my liking. McEgg has a simple egg patty inside but yumm for egg lovers. If you are visiting Ampa Mall, dont miss this place! Or simply go to the mall for visiting McDonald\'s, totally worth it!

At McDonald's, Ampa Skywalk with Ganesh. Had vouchers to use up; so here. McSpicy Chicken Burger, McSpicy Paneer Burger, Piri Piri Fries & Coke. The outlet crowded as expected. Looks like Wrap & McFlurry new additions to the menu? I am not exactly a big fan of McDonald's. It's been some time since I have had food from here. The burger tasted nice - big chicken fillet piece with lots of lettuce & mayo and the bun that crumbles. Ganesh liked his Veggie burger. The French Fries at McDonalds has been a signature selling item for them; still continue to maintain the consistency & taste. I didn't like the Piri Piri Fries that much. Regular Fries it is for me. The order didn't quite end there. Ganesh was on a roll (light lunch) and went on to order Veg Aloo McTikki, Veg Pizza McPuff, Coke Float (Coke + Ice Cream) and Chocolate/Vanilla Softie. For 2 persons the bill came to Rs 500/- Was nice hanging out here after couple of months yes.
