The CCD at forum mall is very crowded and loks very happening, though most of the menu is unavailable.Looks like one of those fancy places where too much is there on the menu for the sake of competition in a mall but nothing is actually there for you to have! Had the frappe and the berry frappe, they were okay. Lots of new stuff on the menu, wanted to try but the place is too crowded and the service at the desk was very busy to tell me whats there and whats not and what is what! Anyways maybe next time!

I am not too fond of CCD but then they are convenient. I have had meetings here I have met friends here I have killed time between meetings here I have killed time between movies and what not here! Offlate i enjoy their Mango shots quite a lot. For Rs20 it is total vfm! I also like their chilli cheese toast and cold coffee. The one outlet that stands out is the one in Adyar, near ambica appalam- love the outdoor seating area, have sat there waiting for friendss numerous times!! but beware, the staff will come back saying this is not available or that is not available invariably.. hehe

This adyar one is my favourite hangout since what almost a decade now? I am a ccd regular, more for chilling out than the coffees and sandwiches.. most of the times in most ccds in Chennai most snacks are unavailable, exp the veg items. In besant nagar, there are two ccds, the one on the beach is very average. The ambiance here is nice but for a beach side coffee shop it cud b a lot better. it is kinda uncomfy in the chairs outside and the backside is too secluded with minimal lighting. The inside is great with comfy couches and good decor, but somehow both inside and outside u feel watched u cant feel relaxed maybe cos the place is very small. I like the one opened in besant avenue now, the menu is also extensive. They even serve salads. My regular favourite in any CCD is the vegan shake. Most other coffees are chocolate based now, i mean what's with that? I used to love this cappa-chillo they used to serve in the planet yumm outlet, truly miss that now. But the new summer iced teas esp the cucumber one is a superhit with me now. The Mango shots are a must try. Of course the samosas and chilli cheese toast are good too. The texmex sandwich is a hit or miss according to the outlet and the timing :)

CCD,Adyar Well everyone knows CCD and what it offers still this one is a bit different from the other CCDs.Its big,has outdoor seating and the location is lovely too.They have free Wi-Fi as well now. And the new combos are pretty decent if you are not in a mood to spend some money.The crowd of this CCD is nice thats may be coz of the location.A frequent visitor of this place i have spotted a lot of south Indian celebrities here. When you are a bit low or just have nothing to do and you stay close,this is the place to go.You can have a good time on your own or with a few friends at this place.Nice place to hang out in Adyar since Mocha is closed down now.
